Return and Exchange Conditions - as of 23-01- 2018

In these Terms and Conditions for Return and Exchange ("Return and Exchange"), "we" or "us" means Rupp Enterprises Pty Ltd t/a PRESTIGE APPLIANCES CHATSWOOD as part of the Rupp Family Trust ABN 26 519 507 287 and "you" means the person, organisation or entity that purchased the products or related services from us.

Please read through these Conditions for Return and Exchange carefully as they form the agreement under which we will supply products and services to you. These Conditions for Return and Exchange apply to all sales made by us to consumers whether products and services are purchased online or over the telephone.

We sell some products under agency agreements. Prices and Conditions of Sale for these products are set by the suppliers, manufacturers, importers or distributors of these agency brands and we cannot adjust them.

We will receive payment from you for products and services on behalf of the suppliers, manufacturers, importers or distributors of agency brands and your tax invoice for these products and services will come directly from them. By ordering these items through PRESTIGE APPLIANCES CHATSWOOD you consent to us disclosing your name, delivery & contact information to the suppliers, manufacturers, importers or distributers for delivery of products. Delivery for most of these products will be by the relevant manufacturers, importers or distributors.

1. Returns Conditions

Please choose carefully as returns and refunds are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any orders before adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding with your order.

At PRESTIGE APPLIANCES CHATSWOOD, we’re all about providing “The Best Advice & The Right Price”. So, if you change your mind about an appliance, we will help make things right.

We sell some products under agency agreements. Prices and Conditions of Sale for these products are set by the suppliers, manufacturers, importers or distributors of these agency brands and we cannot adjust them

Products sold under an agency agreement are excluded from this arrangement as they are sold subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. These include but are not limited to products and services from the following brands: ASKO, BERTAZZONI, BORA, Capital, De Dietrich, Falcon, Kleenmaid, La Germania, Schweigen IN, Speed Queen, STEEL, Studio Solari by Baumatic and V-ZUG.

Credits and exchanges are for the full value of your returned goods only, and do not include the cost of any delivery and installation services. Additionally, all appliances which have been installed will need to be disconnected prior to collection.

If you choose to return your appliance for credit with PRESTIGE APPLIANCES CHATSWOOD, you will receive this credit as a voucher code to use at the PRESTIGE APPLIANCES CHATSWOOD checkout or in store.

PRESTIGE APPLIANCES CHATSWOOD and products under agency agreements are entitled to charge a restocking fee if the products are not returned like new, such as:

a. Where the product has been used or showing any wear and tear.

b. Where the returned item is missing parts or product accessories including manuals and accessories.

c. In the case of appliances, where the appliances are damaged due to not being properly packaged by the customer for its return and exchange shipment.

If your goods are deemed faulty following confirmation by the manufacturer they may be replaced in accordance with Australian Consumer Law, by contacting. or 02 9417 2499 during office hours.

If the return request is deemed unreasonable, our normal replacement services apply.

Nothing in this return policy limits or excludes any guarantees, warranties, representations or conditions implied or imposed by law, including the Australian Consumer Law ("ACL") (or any liability under them) which by law may not be limited or excluded. If you are a "consumer" under the ACL, the following notice applies to you:

Our goods come with warranties and guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law ("Consumer Guarantees"). You are entitled to a replacement or a refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

2. Exchanges and Returns Procedure

a. To book an exchange/return – Contact us at or 02 9417 2499 during office hours within 7 days of receiving your product to organise an exchange or credit authorisation. Please note that our team may require photos/serial number of your appliance to confirm its status.

b. Pack your item – Prepare the item in its original packaging (unless the packaging was taken away on delivery by the delivery company), complete with all original accessories and manuals.

c. Prepare to send – In the case of a large appliance, we will organise a weekday date for one of our third-party service provider or directly by the manufacturer to pick up the product.

d. Receive your exchange/credit – Once your returned goods have arrived at a warehouse, they will be inspected by our team and your exchange or credit will be processed - this typically takes an average of 14 days.

All transactions are processed in Australian dollars.
